This supportive and informative session will help carers better understand and support autistic young people through the changes and challenges of growing up.

The session will cover:

  • Understanding autism and how it can affect experiences of puberty
  • Supporting autistic young people through physical and emotional changes
  • Understanding mental health and emotional wellbeing
  • Recognising signs that a young person may be struggling
  • Practical ways to provide support and reassurance

Urdu interpreter available throughout the session.
