The Dixon Community & Glasgow South Carers Centre is a voluntary organisation that provides support to carers and older people in the South of Glasgow.

Helping carers and older people in the community since 1972

Established in 1972, The Dixon Community has been supporting older people and carers across the Southside of Glasgow for over 50 years. Working in partnership with Glasgow City Council, we provide inclusive, multicultural care and support that responds to the changing needs of our local communities.

Through our two dedicated services, Multicultural Day Opportunities and Glasgow South Carers Centre, we help people feel connected, supported and valued. From engaging activities and social opportunities for older people to practical guidance, training and dedicated support for carers and young carers, we’re committed to making a positive difference in our community.
