Multicultural Day Opportunities

Helping carers and older people in the community since 1972

The Dixon Community is a voluntary organisation established in 1972 and has been a major provider of multicultural care and support to older people and carers in the Southside of Glasgow, responding to the changing needs within the community, in partnership with Glasgow City Council.

We serve diverse multicultural communities across the South of Glasgow. We have two projects at The Dixon Community – Multicultural Day Opportunities and Glasgow South Carers Centre.

Day Opportunities are designed especially for our senior community members, offering a range of engaging events and activities to partake in.

The Glasgow South Carers Centre is dedicated to empowering carers and young carers through focused support, specialised training, supportive events, and a nurturing community.
