Join us for a three-session training course designed to help parents and carers build their understanding of autism, sensory needs and distressed behaviour.
Across the three sessions, we’ll explore:
Understanding Autism – Wednesday 9 September
Build a clear understanding of autism and related needs.
Sensory Needs – Wednesday 23 September
Explore sensory systems and how sensory information may be processed differently.
Anxiety & Distressed Behaviour – Wednesday 7 October
Learn how to understand and respond to behaviours that may be difficult to manage.
The course will also introduce the “What, Why, How” approach to interpreting behaviour and provide practical tips to support communication, reduce anxiety and respond to distress.
🕤 Time: 9.30am–2.30pm
📍 Dixon Halls, 656 Cathcart Road, G42 8AA
The sessions are aimed at supporting parents and carers to develop greater understanding and practical approaches that can be used in everyday life.
